Past Doings

Here you will find stories and descriptions of many past events put on by the IOG: from concerts and trampolining to trips across Britain and further afield, with a solid foundation of reports of walks undertaken – usually with route maps and pictures.

All official fixtures were cancelled during the restrictions required by the Covid Pandemic in 2020-21 but small groups of friends kept up the traditions, meeting safely when they could to get out in the glorious Suffolk countryside – reports on those adventures are in the category labelled ‘Living with Covid-19’.

In June 2021 our official programme started again and we have returned to the normal format, along with the added section ‘Walks with GPX’ where you will find links to the routes of some of the outings – a valuable archive we will continue to extend.
