The walk that was originally planned for Saturday 25th May had to be postponed. But a linear walk between Woodbridge and Ipswich was offered as an alternative…
The walk started at Woodbridge Railway Station. We followed the Fynn Valley Walk to Tuddenham, where we had a very welcome lunch break in Piers and Alison’s lovely garden.
We carried on along the Fynn Valley Walk to Witnesham, then joined the Fonnereau Way to Christchurch Park, Ipswich.
The walk officially ended at The Dove Street Inn, Ipswich, where the group enjoyed a well-deserved drink.
A walk of 13ish miles with only a little rain in the morning. Another good day, many thanks to those that joined us.
