Many thanks to Glen for a fun walk of about 9 miles on Sunday 29th September.
We met at Westleton Community Field before heading off on a stroll through farmland, heathland and forest. It stayed dry all day with the welcome cooling breeze of approaching autumn.

Glen’s ‘risk assessment’ for the day contained the line ‘the route taken should not pose any undue hazards’.
So it was a quite a surprise when we discovered an ominous sign in the forest warning of ‘Danger of Death’, right where Glen was planning to take us into the woods.

Fortunately, an alternative path was quickly found that reduced our chances of the woodland archery club using us for target practice.

Post-walk drinks were enjoyed at the Westleton Crown. Another good day with the IOG and great to see a few new members.
