Goathland Trip: Monday 11th November

Pics contributed by Lou, Christina, Lisa and Simon.

We woke to a beautiful sunny day on our last full day of the trip and we made the most of the good weather.

Almost all of the groups walked along the wooded valley…
…to visit the Thomason Foss waterfall.
Sally and Nadia carried on to the Mallyan Spout waterfall.
There was a classic IOG bridge picture in the sunshine.
Simon led a group to Whinstone Ridge…
…described by some as “Yorkshire’s Grand Canyon”.
A lovely sunlit day for everyone to round off the trip.

Overall, it was a great trip. Thanks to Phil, Alli and Cort for the wonderful organisation of their first trip. We hope it’s the first of many!
